The Path is an experiential PC game that has received both very negative and very positive reviews, but this unusual game offers a depth of gaming that is truly unique.
The Path seems like a game that people either love or hate, but some bad reviews are the result of a common bug in the game that can easily be fixed. For more information on this bug, please check out How To Debug The Path. The Path is a Fresh and Innovative Computer Game. The Path is a game that is for people who are tired of unoriginal mainstream games and want to try something new and different. Be warned that The Path is not merely entertainment - in fact it is not entertaining in the conventional sense at all. It is deeply satisfying and deeply troubling all at once. By the end of it, if a person have kept an open mind, they will see the world a little bit differently, guaranteed. This is the kind of experience that makes a person question how they view the world. And the fact that a game can do that is simply incredible. The Concept of The Path revolves around Little Red Riding HoodLittle Red Riding Hood may bring back memories of kindergarten, but The Path’s dark manifestation of this tale isn’t schoolyard stuff by any stretch of the imagination. There are six different girls, all at different stages of development, all different versions of the red hooded heroine. The player get to play each, one by one, in any order one likes. All six times the player end up in the forest, walking down a path to Grandmother’s Path. The one rule? Stay on the path. But in the case of this game, rules are made to be broken. Success equates failure. Points are meaningless. Its all about the experience, which is a gamble on the developer’s part. Having a game so focused on one aspect usually spells dismal failure, but in this case the game succeeds beyond all expectations. The Path’s Gameplay is Engaging and Highly NontraditionalIn The Path, the player does not control the characters in the traditional sense of the world. They are not avatars, nor were meant to be. The player can get them to walk where they want, even run, but once they let go of the controls, the character takes over if she is within range of something that sparks her interest. Each character is unique and extremely human in some respects. And a person never knows what is going to happen the minute you take they hands away from the keyboard. This Game is Only Worth What You Put into itThis game may cost only $10.00, but its true value is what the gamer decides to do with it. This is not the game for people who aren’t willing to be open to a new experience that will potentially impact them in a profound way. However, for those who are willing to try something new and be impacted by it, this game comes highly recommended.
