Gaining exalted reputation with the Timbermaw Hold and the achievement 'They Love Me In That Tunnel' is a very quick and easy achievement to complete.

The Timbermaw Hold are a classic faction of furbolgs located in Felwood and Winterspring; both the Horde and Alliance can become exalted with this faction.

Unfriendly Reputation with the Timbermaw Hold

Initially a player will begin with unfriendly status with the Timbermaw Hold in Felwood; there will be a series of quests available which will quickly boost their reputation. Only when these quests are complete will a player be able to pick up items to be handed in for reputation.

The Timbermaw Hold Tunnel

The Timbermaw Hold tunnel is located in northern Felwood and leads through to Winterspring and Moonglade, even with unfriendly status a player is able to travel through this tunnel without attracting any aggro.

Hand-in Items for the Timbermaw Hold

Once a player has completed the necessary quests they will be able to collect hand-in items for reputation, the player will complete a hand-in quest initially which will then become repeatable. The repeatable quest in Felwood requires 5 Deadwood Headdress Feathers which drop from the furbolgs in Deadwood Village in southern Felwood and from Felpaw Village in the north.

The drop rate for the feathers is very good and 5 feathers will grant 300 reputation, the feathers can be handed in to the NPCs Grazle, near Deadwood Village and Nafien located just outside the entrance to the tunnel in the north. In addition the feathers can be handed in until a player is fully exalted.

Hand-in Items in Winterspring

On the other side of the in Winterspring is another NPC called Salfa who will offer a player quests, again these need to be completed before the hand-in quest becomes repeatable. The repeatable quest requires 5 Winterfall Spirit Beads which drop from the furbolgs in Timbermaw Post and surrounding areas in Winterspring. Like the feathers 5 beads will grant 500 reputation and can be handed in until a player is fully exalted.

Revered Status with the Timbermaw Hold

Until a player becomes revered with Timbermaw Hold they will gain 20 reputation for every furbolg they kill, this is quite a high amount compared to some other factions. However, once a player is revered they will no longer receive any reputation for killing the furbolgs in Felwood or Winterspring.

There is an exception to this as a player will gain 60 reputation for killing Chieftain Bloodmaw in Felwood and a 100 reputation for High Chief Winterfall in Winterspring. Therefore the easiest way for a player to become exalted reputation with the Timbermaw Hold is to save as many feathers and beads as possible then hand them in once revered.

Timbermaw Hold and ‘The Diplomat’ Achievement

Becoming exalted with the Timbermaw Hold not only gives a player an achievement but also counts towards ‘The Diplomat’ achievement which additionally requires exalted reputations with the Kurenai of Telaar, Nagrand and the Sporeggar of Zangarmarsh.
