These are the runes that can be found for both the Dervish and the Paragon characters in the Guild Wars Nightfall release.

Runes in Guild Wars are great add-ons to armor in the game. It can boost the player’s skills and abilities in a way that the playing style is specced. It is one of the most personalized customizations in the game.

Dervish

While there are some runes in Guild Wars that are good for any class of player, these are specifically for the Dervish class character. They really are only worthy for the Dervish, as they are class specific. All the Dervish runes are listed.

  • Minor Mysticism - +1 to Mysticism
  • Major Mysticism - +2 to Mysticism, -35 to Health
  • Superior Mysticism - +3 to Mysticism, -75 to Health
  • Minor Scythe Mastery - +1 to Scythe Mastery
  • Major Scythe Mastery - +2 to Scythe Mastery, -35 to Health
  • Superior Scythe Mastery - +3 to Scythe Mastery, -75 to Health
  • Minor Wind Prayers - +1 to Wind Prayers
  • Major Wind Prayers - +2 to Wind Prayers, -35 to Health
  • Superior Wind Prayers - +3 to Wind Prayers, -75 to Health
  • Minor Earth Prayers - +1 to Earth Prayers
  • Major Earth Prayers - +2 to Earth Prayers, -35 to Health
  • Superior Earth Prayers - +3 to Earth Prayers, -75 to Health

As you can see for the Dervish, they have runes that will be able to accent each of their class abilities, from +1 to +3 depending on the rune type.

Paragon

While there are some runes in Guild Wars that are good for any class of player, these are specifically for the Paragon class character. They really won’t be worth anything for any other class, as they are class specific. All the Paragon runes are listed.

  • Minor Leadership - +1 to Leadership
  • Major Leadership - +2 to Leadership, -35 to Health
  • Superior Leadership - +3 to Leadership, -75 to Health
  • Minor Spear Mastery - +1 to Spear Mastery
  • Major Spear Mastery - +2 to Spear Mastery, -35 to Health
  • Superior Spear Mastery - +3 to Spear Mastery, -75 to Health
  • Minor Motivation - +1 to Motivation
  • Major Motivation - +2 to Motivation, -35 to Health
  • Superior Motivation - +3 to Motivation, -75 to Health
  • Minor Command - +1 to Command
  • Major Command - +2 to Command, -35 to Health
  • Superior Command - +3 to Command, -75 to Health

As can be seen, the runes are similar in that all have a minor, a major, and a superior version of the rune. The higher the ranking of the rune, the bigger the hit to healthpoints, but the higher the boost to the skill the player is trying to raise.

These are helpful additions to any armor. A player needs to find what skill is the most used for that class and game style, and add buffs accordingly. See more at Guild Wars.
