Traps are available to the Rogue Mastery skill set players; see what other skills are as well.

In 2006 Titan Quest was released from Iron Lore and THQ. Set in ancient Rome, it is a mythical RPG (role playing game) that has the same platform and player controls as the ever popular Diablo 2 game. The gamer can choose to play single player or hook up in multiplayer mode.

There is also the ability to choose one or two of the Masteries to pick skills in, and these are the skills that will be at the player’s disposal when they choose the Rogue Mastery. The points that are used in Masteries are given three at a time whenever the character levels up.

1 Mastery Point Skills

These three skills will be able to chosen after one mastery point is put into the Rogue Mastery.

  • Calculated Strike – Every fourth hit will do extra damage.
  • Blade Honing – This skill keeps the weapon sharp and piercing.
  • Envenom Weapon – Adds poison to the weapon that the player is using.

These first starter skills only require one mastery point in the bar before the player can begin using them.

4 Mastery Point Skills

These four skills will be able to chosen after four mastery points are put into the Rogue Mastery.

  • Throwing Knives – Throws knives at your foes.
  • Disarm Traps – The ability to disarm others traps that are around the player, keeping them from harm.
  • Nightshade – The Envenom Weapon skill can slow enemies now.
  • Flash Powder –Use of flash power can disorient enemies with this skill.

These lower level skills are fun and a good deal of help in a battle, after they are increased and helped by more upper level skills they are even better.

10 Mastery Point Skills

These four skills will be able to chosen after ten mastery points are put into the Rogue Mastery.

  • Lucky Hit – The Calculated Strikes may penetrate the armor of foes.
  • Open Wound – Sword, Spear, Bow, or Axe weapons may have bleeding damage.
  • Lay Trap – Throws a bolt trap near your enemy.
  • Poison Gas Bomb – Throws a toxic gas cloud near enemies.

These mid range skills are fun to do with the gas bombs and traps. Giving the player more chances to do damage is always a good thing.

16 Mastery Point Skills

These three skills will be able to chosen after sixteen mastery points are put into the Rogue Mastery.

  • Lethal Stroke – A single hit that has multiple damage effects.
  • Rapid Construction – Lets the Lay Trap skill be able to be used quicker.
  • Toxin Distillation – Increases the length and potency of poison damage.

These mid range skills are playing up more of the damaging affects of some of the lower level skills.

24 Mastery Point Skills

These three skills will be able to chosen after twenty four mastery points are put into the Rogue Mastery.

  • Anatomy – Critical strikes can go and do more bleeding and damage.
  • Mandrake – The poison from the Envenom Weapon can cloud the mind of the foe.
  • Shrapnel – Puts shrapnel in the poison gas bombs.

The second to highest tier of the skill range, these add even more damaging effects to skills the player is using.

32 Mastery Point Skills

These three skills will be able to chosen after thirty two mastery points are put into the Rogue Mastery.

  • Mortal Wound – Lethal Strike has more poison and bleed damage.
  • Flurry of Knives – Gives the player more of the throwing knives at once.
  • Improved Firing Mechanism – Gives a bolt trap more bolts to fire.

As seen, these highest level skills improve upon the foundation that the lower and mid range skills have put into play in the game.

Between the traps and the ability to inflict more damage with certain skills, the Rogue Mastery skill set is really an interesting and tactical choice among the Titan Quest players.
