Gargoyles in Fable 2 or more than decoration or part of the landscape, they are directly responsible for unlocking other things in the game. One legendary weapon (the crossbow) cannot even be received unless all 50 of the gargoyles are shot. This is an article to help the Hero find the first 25 of these gargoyles so that they can be well on the way to destroying them all.
Bloodstone Gargoyles
These are the four gargoyle locations that are in the Bloodstone area.
- As far south in the first tier that the Hero can go there is a gargoyle to the front of them up a level.
- Do the “Treasure Island of Doom” quest and then on Lion Head’s Isle is a gargoyle by the big waterfall.
- Swim in the Bloodstone Sea as far north as possible, there is a gargoyle out on the rocks.
- Go to the boathouse in Bloodstone. Between the boathouse and the house, the gargoyle is situated there.
Bandit Coast Gargoyles
These are the two gargoyle locations in the Bandit Coast area of the game.
- Go to the southern end of the loop that is in the middle of the map location where there is a cave at the end of the road’s path. There will be a chest in that cave, look to the left of it and there will be a gargoyle.
- To the left most area of the map is a camp. Looking to the left while between the cart and the barrels will be a gargoyle up very high.
Bower Lake Gargoyles
These are the five gargoyle locations in the Bower Lake region of the game.
- On the arch to the north of the exit of Brightwood there is a gargoyle above a chest on the ruins.
- Go through that same arch then stop, turn around and there is a gargoyle to the right tower top.
- On the closest ruin to the Bower Lake tomb south area there is a gargoyle.
- Do the “Rescuing Charlie” quest. After going through the very first big section of Tomb of Heroes the gargoyle rests behind the Hero in the corridor area.
- Across the Bower Lake bridge that leads to Bowerstone turn to the left and up the edge. There will be a waterfall with a raised area that will insult the Hero. That is the gargoyle.
Bowerstone Cemetery Gargoyles
These are the four gargoyle locations in the Bowerstone Cemetery region of the game.
- Go up the stairs and then to the left to where there is a tomb on the end of the path. Look up and to the left to see the gargoyle here.
- Go up the next set of stairs, walk to the middle and it will be behind the Hero above that tomb.
- Behind the path’s closed gate near main cemetery, high on the left on the wooden part of the wall is the gargoyle.
- When the Hero goes to the bottom right of the map area, on the stairs, and then to the left behind him is the gargoyle.
Bowerstone Market Gargoyles
These are the four gargoyle spots in the Bowerstone Market area in the game.
- On the side of the bridge with the carriage to the east wall up the steps to the left. This is where one of the gargoyles lies.
- On the carriage side again, on the east of the riverfront, through the tunnel that is under the bridge there is a gargoyle.
- On the east side of bridge in the carriage garage, the hero must aim between carriage and carriage area wall.
- In the furniture shop in the square in the upstairs furthest room. Face the door that the Hero entered and the gargoyle is there.
Brightwood Gargoyles
These are the five gargoyle spots in the Brightwood section of the game.
- On the SE island there is a gargoyle on the back of the black colored structure.
- Near the SW water, there is a gargoyle on the arch going to Westcliff.
- From a drop down in Archon’s Knot there is a gargoyle behind the Hero.
- When the hero buys Brightwood Tower, go by Garth’s bed and see through the window. The gargoyle needs to be shot through the glass.
- Entering the castle in the Forsaken Fortress minizone, go right and around the curve. On the broken column top is the gargoyle.
Knowing where the gargoyles are located can give the player the key to opening up many aspects of the game, as knowing where all the silver keys and the gargoyles are is testament to a Fable 2 veteran.
